Bishop Richard Umbers The Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Sydney since 2016. Ordained a Priest in 2002, Bishop Richard has worked pastorally as a school and University Chaplin at a  number of NSW colleges between 2002 and 2013. Bishop Richard was most recently a representative of the Archbishop on the Council of Priests of the Archdiocese of Sydney and a member representative for the Archdiocese to the St John of God Hospitals. Bishop Richard is widely  published in the area of philosophy, he regularly addresses gatherings of youth, has an interest in social media and has a library of his own podcasts.

Each speaker will conclude their presentations with three suggestions for Catholics to embrace the current challenges and reinvigorate their faith. The talk will be followed by a Question and Answer session.
